Clan Macgillevary
My apologies if I mis-spelled the name.
Any ex-Clan men on this boat in late '66 when there was a serious incident with the crew of the Salvada in Immingham?

Was on her during trials as helmsman. It was a tradition that cadets doing pre-sea training at the
Watt memorial college in Greenock were employed for all steering jobs ( measured mile off Skelmorlie)
etc.
Got 5 pounds for the two days - a small fortune to us then. Me and my mate took turns about
sleeping on a bed made out of signal flags during the trials.
Happy days.
