    Default Khan brothers

    Hiya all, I am trying to find as much info as I can about 2 brothers that sailed with CP on the Empress boats. My Dad was Cyril and his older brother was known as the Aga. He was the Donkey man. Both from Liverpool and saile through th 1950s an 60s. Does anyone remember them

    Hi Steve,I remember The Aga on the Empress Of France 1957,I only mentioned him on here the other day.
    i'l be seeng a mate of mine later today he was on the France at that time for two years,he will know more of The Aga than me.

    Hi Steve,yes just had a word with my mate,sailed with your dad and The Aga,two good guys by all accounts.
    He seems to recall that The Aga got the M.B.E. did you know this if so what was it for?He thinks it was for his lifetime at sea with C.P.R. but he may be wrong.

    The Aga got it for jumping off a ship into the Atlantic and saving an AB who had fell overboard! He never really spoke about it though. He was was very proud of it. Would your mte have any pictures of him and his mates?

    I sailed with "Aga" on the Canada in the engine room from the maiden voyage and the rest of 1961, a great guy in all respects, there is a photo of him on deck with a bunch of white clad officers, taken I believe on a cruise. You can view it if you log into "Timelink" the ex C.P employees site. Hard to believe that was 50 years ago.
