BP ships served on

Hi shipmates, My first trip to sea was on the Br Triumph as junior R/O june 59 to feb 60 joined and paid off in isle of grain, I then joined Br Advocate in Barry dock May 60 to Feb 61 paid off isle of grain that was my first trip as R/O. then moved on to cargo ships.

Going by your "R" number,you must
have been on the British Pioneer in the
50s.I sailed on her for my first trip,sailed
on the 22ndDec 1952 from Swansea,and
paid off at Falmouth on the 8th April 1953.

Hello Tracey did your brother by chance sail on the Prospector,s maiden voyage ex Belfast?

sailed on british destiny late 50,s.

Sailed on british trust 1972.

Sailed on British Strength 1951,I think it was.

British Judge 1962 British Light 1962.

If anyone sailed out from Swansea on a regular
basis,you were bound to end up on a BP tanker
at some time.
