Re: British Tankes
I had a really good friend who sailed on the British Soldier in 1963. His name was Peter Watts and he was in the catering dept. could have been a steward or training as a cook. I wonder if you can recall him?

Re: British Tankers
I am new to the site so maybe getting this wrong. I sailed on British Honour 1964/65, then 1966/1967. Best ship I ever sailed on, many times to Bandur Mashur but you can't have it all your own way

Good day Nick, I was an A.S, we must have met on board the Gull in 1965, were you on the Gull before she went into Dry dock at South Shields or after. I was on board before and after. I also had a stint on the Workman, up the Baltic in winter, came back with a lot of rivet's taken off with the ice.

Re: British Tankers
Hello Nick, I sailed in the British Realm and the British Talent in the 50s. Both did the Mena to Little Aden run amongst other ports. The T2s were mostly used for the Mena/Little Aden run. Little Aden is now The Yemen I believe. Regards Frank.
