Sadly Rod, he will wish he had listened when your gone, but it will be too late. Read about a woman who had an interesting life and penned 500,000 words (that takes some doing) and during an interview said neither her children or grandchildren were interested in reading it. It seems that the younger generation do not have a tolerance for doing things (reading etc) in depth and their time span tolerance is minimal. If hasn't got flashing lights, buttons and a screen it's not even worth considering and any book over 10 pages without pictures is beyond their grasp. It's a changing world, but our love of books comes from spending a lot of time on sea passages up to 40 days long (didn't you just love those fast ships) when we had time to digest the contents and even read the same book twice on the same trip
