No deck crowd in BSL
That tight-fisted Vesty lot just used the cadets to close up,batten down & let go.
Those sailors who were actually on board were worse for wear anyway.
All for 1/3d an hour O/T, 'elf & safety wouldn't allow it now, neither would Comrade Crow and the Bus Drivers politburo!

Anybody remember the original Imperial Star? Torpedoed in the Med during the WW2. My dad was on board and I have some info. marcusbeach@bigpond.com
