Imperial Star Bosun
Did anyone sail on the Imperial Star for a few days in January and then from February to March, 1969? Wondering if you remember the bosun. Thanks.

Hi Glenn,
Yes it was close to the end for her. I was peggy on the trip when some of the deckhands jumped ship in Napier.
Regards, Rob.

Mmm Yes Napier was quite a favourite Port for jumping Ship, quite surprising in that the Town was quite small in those days and the Local Plod would be in the know as far as spotting the chaps , I would have though Auckland or Wellington would be a more sensible decision as you could get a job and vanish in those days.
Most jumped for (Love) which is very Blinding, it all changes when your washing the Dishes and mowing the Lawns. Glenn
