Hi Vince,
Alex again found a photo from Southland that time with Harry,Scoogs ,Nigs and me flaked out my memory of who was on there is not much better than yours think the cook was Dagenham Dan,2nd cook was a big lunatic called Tug Wilson who had a big black beard smoked all these mental looking pipes,he came from cornwall but used to go ashore in a kilt work that one out, also remember drinking games that if you lost you had to dive head first into the bin with all the empty cans as for nigs i see quite a few people on thes sites looking for him with no luck. Couple of other memories from that trip is me and scoogs being in a car crash we were that out of it in the back seat that we dint even know there had been a crash bounced about like a couple of rubber men and walked away without a scratch, also me nigs and scoogs being on the piss in the Breakwater pub walking back to the ship and deciding it would be a good idea to take all our gear off cos it was a nice day walked back without a stitch on and the mate and co.legging it from the gangway when they saw us great times eh! ill tell scoogs next time I talk to him that I heard from you,
Cheers mate,Alex.
