Re: Mike
Tell us the story then Mike, always good to have a blow out and get it off your chest. Not so bad now retired, and can holiday anytime, but for a short spell ashore i worked in a factory, which closed down for the annual 2 weeks, i had a lousy holiday in Wales, rained everyday etc, but that was it for another year in those days, keep smiling mate, kt

Re: Mike
Mike, not good news mate, every holiday should be good and the best ones remembered for years to come.
Hope you can arrange another one in the not too distant future.

Happy daze John in Oz.

Re: Mike
In answer to the requests.
We got to the Lodge site and unpacked .when we went to bed there was a constant run of cars passing our Lodge, their headlights would shine into our window keeping us awake, The lights bounced off the glass fronted wardrobe. we did not get any sleep at all that night. There was also loud talking /shouting. some one told them to be quiet but they got told to F*** off
It was in the early hours when we had no sleep we decided that if this was going to be like this, then we would go back home.
we were not prepared to go through these antics every night.so on the Sunday morning we packed up and went home.
I am now in the process of trying to get my money back.
Mike

Re: Mike
Such a shame Mike, some people are so selfish, they have no consideration. My son and his partner were camping last year, and the adjoining campers were partying, very loudly until the early hours, no sleep for them, but they decided very early to get up and play loud music to the offenders, they had the cheek to open their tent and complain at how unreasonable my son was, he got huge pleasure from that, but the good thing was all the nearby tents gave him a great cheer, great joy in justice sometimes. Better luck next time Mike, regards kt

Re: Mike
The funny thing is,when I told the site reception when I got home.
I was offered some days at the same place if I wanted them.
I was polite with my answer.
