Re: Maple Leaf
Have a great time Joe and good wishes to your sister-in-law. I have a soft spot for Ontario where I lived in the mid-fifties when the Toronto subway was still under construction. If you pass by St Catherines give a wave for me. I spent many weekends there with my Uncle George who immigrated to Canada from Bradford, Yorks after he was demobbed from the British army in 1919.

Good luck Joe and hope your wife's sisters health improves.
I'm sure will enjoy Ontario as I reckon that, apart from the U.K., Canada is the best country in the world to live in and either Ontario and B.C. would be the only other place I would consider living in. Actually had 4 job offers within 6 hours of arriving in Prince Rupert one trip (Including the Canadian Coastguard) which if both my wife's and mine parents not been in their 60's and been unable to fly, we would have jumped at moving out there.

Joe, Have a safe flight and wish your sister-in-law better health. Lived in Oshawa or nearby since retiring in'83. Lived and worked in Toronto since coming to Canada in '56. Must'av done something right for all these years. If you're by this way I welcome you both to drop by and enjoy my balcony for a visit and a great view of Lake Ont and To' from my 12th floor with a glass of Malt in one hand, cigar on the other. Temp. today 80C, Sunny, etc.
Can you tell I'm competing with Dennis? Cheers, Eric

Re: Maple Leaf
Ha ha, Good one Eric.
Hope you are keeping well?
My son flew out yesterday to Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Got a job drilling in a mine. Think the mine is about an hours drive north of the airport. Never had the pleasure of being any further East than Calgary.
Except of course the Eastern seaboard.
