Post about a Cap Badge ??????

Hi Somewhere along the line there was a post regarding a Cap Badge!

(Not the one by psmcdougall

Cant recall who posted but anyway i came across this Pic of an Ashtray from
HMS London and am wondering if this may be the answer to that Cap Badge! It says from HMS london "Petty Officer"See both the original Pic posted and the one of the Ashtray!

Not sure about this cap badge. It's not a Merchant Navy crown. The crown is more naval but that is where the similarities end. It's not a naval officer's badge or a naval petty officer's badge. I don't see a connection with HMS LONDON.
