Looking for Tom Howard
Hello all
My name is Sharyn and I am trying to locate my father. I am very short on details sorry but any help anyone could offer would be much appreciated.
His name is Tom (thomas?) Howard. He was a merchant seaman who was docked at both Auckland and Wellington harbours in New Zealand around the months of September 1965. He would have been approximated 18 yrs old (this is a approx guess). I am not having much luck searching the internet as I dont even know for sure the name of the ship he was on.
Again, thank you all for your time and hope desperately someone can help.
Regards

Try and keep trying!
Well if she can come up with the place of birth, then that would be a start ,you can then see if any of the ones i posted may be him!
Yes clutching at straws is the word at this point!
Hope you can come up with some sort of concrete info!
Cheers and good luck!

Re looking for Tom Howard
Sharyn, have you tried checking out the list of ships in port at that time, this might jog your mum's memory. With that info you might have a chance. Hope this helps.

A big job!
Hi Frank
A good idea but must say its going to be a hard task, for there were so many Ships in Ports of Wellington and Auckland in Sept of the Year 1965,but as you say may just be of help!
For Jacyn!
Here are a few lists of Ships in those Harbours in 1963,not all necessary Sept of that Year!
Cheers and waht a job you have ahead of you!
