    Default E.Martin

Must agree Kingston was a very good run ashore as was most of the outports around Jamaica spent a lot of time in Jamaica1956-1957, flew into Montego Bay March this year brought back a few memories.
Middlesbrough had some good runs ashore there back in the fifties, worst place must be Mena Al Amadi in Kuwait.

    Wink

I can’t really say that any particular place was the worst that I visited. Whenever and wherever possible I used to try and see much of the places as I could.
the first Ship Rangitata the best.

I must Nyali Beach Hotel Mombasa at the top as that is where I met the wife 44yrs ago.

Exclamation East or west? home is the best.

I have been to most parts of the world,North ,south east, and west the best part is where your home and heart is? an old Donkeyman once told me. There are only two types of people in the world good and bad ,Any where in the world you will find out this is true? and keep your money in your sock, when you go a shore in strange ports.

Vernon mate, I have found a way around the sock problem, I never wear them have not done so for about five years. So where do I put it now? Maybe you had better not reply to that!!!!! Even the plastic is not safe any more.

Talking No socks try a money belt?

Hi Shipmates' , as the old donkeyman told me, back in the old days we had very little money, and we used soap in most places for a good time, or trade goods{ broaching cargo was my hobby} no goods in containers, when I was at sea ha ha , The shipping companys were very rich still are? ,so did not mind me helping myself to a few bits to make up my poor wages'? Chocolate, dinky toys, watches, and drink were the best, as I recall had many a "Goodtime" on them or traded them for other things.
