Default Herbert ’Nobby’ Hall at Seaman's Mission, New York

I am trying to find more information about my grandfather Herbert ’Nobby’ Hall, who, after some years in the Merchant Navy, became the Dredging Master & Pilot at the port of Vishakapatnam or Vizag, on the east coast of India (c. 1940-1950). c. 1952 he and his wife Simonne were living in Fresh Meadows, and in 1959 210th Street, St Albans, New York, at which time they were involved in running the Merchant Seaman's Mission in New York. Does anybody have any information about the mission or even remember my grandparents when they stayed or visited the mission?
