Well well Hazel
As i said it could well have been him.
I have also tried to resize and crop and yes just by looking closer , again think it could well be your Dad!
Wow!! That would be something!!
Cheers

Hi again Doc,
Sadly, we do not think this is Dad
. However, we are not too disappointed as today, finally, the Log of the Empire Bairn has crawled out of the woodwork having been missing since 2004! Hilariously, it says place of birth is Dublin. Also, the first of the three pictures of Daisy you found is likely the right boat!
I really am on a roll at the moment!
Feeling happy!!!!
Hazel
p.s. Wher do you find thes photographs?

Re: Itma dominic michael stringer - a comprehensive update
I have loads of Pics saved to various Hrad Drives Hazel, and others on the Internet while Browsing . I had remembered seeing a Pic of that Ship with the Man on (Sorry it is not Dominic) but had to go through virtually Thousands and Thousands of old Files! Took me ages!
Anyway Glad you are on a Roll and HAPPY! LOL

Re: Itma dominic michael stringer - a comprehensive update
Hi again Doc,
If memory serves these pics of Delamar are dated circa 1938 when Dad was quite definitely still in Glasgow - it would have ben something of a miracle if it had been him! Perhaps I should go in search of a crew list. However, that means fighting my way into US records - yet another challenge!
Hazel
