Money from th3 USA
Back in the 60s i was on a cargo ship on the mans run from san diego up to seatle and back we stayed overnight many times
When we forst arrived in the US the customs came onboard and all the crew were giving cash as a perdieum for each night we stayed in port overnight
I seem to recall that this was compensation for all the MN seamen killed in WWII can anyone else remember this or correct me why we reciebed this money
