Re: Looking for info
Haven't found a burial site as yet Christopher! Kenneth possibly buried in hospital grounds alongside other seamen who died of maleria at the same time? If I am reading of the correct hospital that particular one closed in 1941. Presume fees were covered by the Shipping Co... if at all?? Perhaps other members could advise you here....As an aside there are three trees on Ancestry pertaining to your gt,uncle, one has stated he died in 1992! one stops at 1911 and the last states he -died 1929 at Marseille, Bouches-du-Rhône, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France. Will keep looking....
Last address looks like 91, Blad----- St, searching for 1939 census for his father James.

The address is probably Baldwin Street, which was in Pillgwenlly in Newport. His father used to reside in Caldicot.

Re: Looking for info
Not having any luck Christopher in locating your gt,uncles resting place when entering the french address you supplied. Had a look at ''My Heritage'' they are offering a free trial though I would not be interested in signing up for that but perhaps worth considering for yourself? Do they offer a pay as you go facility rather than full yearly subscription?
