NATO & World War 3

With the announcement that NATO forces are upping the rapid reaction force from 40,000 to 300,000 troops, are we heading for WW3. Is it just Sabre rattling and playing the Russians at their own game?
I have always considered myself to be a Pacifist but listening to General Sir Patrick Sanders on the news this week when he said we are now in the same place as we were in 1937.
I do believe that we are and now entering a stage and preparing to call Russia's bluff. This mad man Putin has to be stopped and removed.
Some may say that NATO will only flex it's muscles and do nothing(unless) a NATO member is attacked. Are NATO playing the long game and wanting Putin to make the first move? I suppose if NATO went on the offensive Putin would grandstand and say to the Russian people (see I told you the WEST are a threat).
I know it is easy for the likes of myself to say it is now time to send NATO troops into the Ukraine. If Putin decides to attack those NATO members on Russia's borders so be it.
I do believe a Russian attack will be the former countries that were part of the old USSR but when will he do it?

It is very easy at my age to play the keyboard warrior but sadly (doom & gloom) we are heading down the road of WW3.

Maybe the Russians need Captain Mainwaring, they allegedly have lost 57. Generals in action. The have brought one out of retirement, he is reports to eat five meals day and drinks a bottle of Vodka.
Latest news is they have blown upon one of their ships with one of thier mines.

James like you at my age i have no intent on trying to change anything, but i do agree with your sentiments here, as i have for quite some time been telling my Siblings that the World is changing fast , and with all that is going on it is highly likely that we may well be seeing WW3 , not a nice thought at all, but one must be realistic!
Lets hope that i amd other are wrong!!!

So Europe is rearming, Lots of work for the American arms industry. America needs this to keep their economy going. This why they pushed
Russia into invading Ukraine .And the stupid Ukrainians are allowing their country to be destroyed .All they had to do was keep to the Minsk treaty.
And when this is all over the Americans will be in for the rich pickings,.

The whole world is in a very dangerous place, China is ramping it up with Taiwan, The USA has sworn to support Taiwan , so everything on the boil, all equipped with nuclear , so if that kicks off, a really big bang.As for Putin, all bullies have to be stopped, i think the problem is to allow him out with some face, if he is humiliated then he could do something really silly.

Vic you are wrong, Ukraine terminated the Minsk treaty on the 21st September 2018, Check it out on google.

ZELENSKYY is being deluded by the USA and GB into thinking that he is a World statesman when in fact he is being made a fool.

Colin, according to what I can find on the net Putin, terminated the Minsk agreement on the 22nd of February and then invaded on the 24th.
Putin is deluded and a bully.
Putin wants to control vast swathes of Europe and Ukraine is a stepping stone
