WHAT HAPPENED TO THE SEAFARING STORIES THREAD ON SWINGING THE LAMP/
I am trying to print my seafaring stories but cannot find them, all vanished.
Just spent FOUR HOURS searching for them

Have you looked through your Threads capt.

If you just go through all the Swinging the Lamp Topics on the Right hand side you should come up with them.
Just as an example here are two i saw just quickly in your listings

I got the reply from Cape Town Library this time a Pic (Had to cut it in two) of the old Manchester Hotel (Formerly Hansa Hotel ) Corner of Strand and Burh Streets Cape Town.
So there we have it mate all solved for you and me LOL
