Re: My Ships History
Depends on Ships and dates.
Most you will have to apply for Voyage Record Cards for each Ship.
There may be one or two at the National Archives but dont think so with the Years shown.
VRC Available from the Guildhall Library London , when they Reopen that is
Cheers

Hi Bert, Your plight is a common one often mentioned on the forum, Like yourself i remember the ships but when i think back i can remember where i joined them, But like yourself i cant remember every port i got to on any particular ship, And a lot of the ports that you recall sometimes after reading about them on here this forum i got two 3 or 4 times, Take Vernon's advice if you want to track your past but like yourself i fell into the category where i paid of one ship after a 12 month voyage 71/72 And was handed a new book as you know they where changed again in 72 good luck in your quest mate, p.s. While you can try and do what a lot of the lad have done build a ships picture library, My grandkids love looking threw it. Terry

Re: My Ships History
HI Bert.
I kept a diary when I first went to sea, then did the stupid thing later and threw it away, on this site I found that the ship a BP tanker I thought I visited Aruba on was wrong, found out that it was on a RFA tanker. AS Vernon said they stopped listing many things in the 70s , I was lucky and was at sea in 49 to 50 s. But you never know .

Re: My Ships History
Like you Des I had one.
Then I met SWMBO and she said it had to go as there were names and addresses of some very nice looking pieces overseas, phone numbers as well.

Happy daze John in Oz.
