Re: Anyone else desperate for one
I grew up in a small village in Surrey, we did, t have a barber as such, there was a single rail line into Guildford, steam train of course, and the local signalman George used to cut hair in the signal box, the train ran every 45 mins, so Mum would hear the train leave, give us the tanner it cost for the haircut, and we would leg it round to the signal box. Certainly was another world in those days, kt

Re: Anyone else desperate for one
When the lock down cane into place here the gov said 15 minutes for a hair cut was all that was needed.
\After screams from the profession it was extended to 30 minutes.
Fine, but look around and you will see hairdressers doing cuts, colors and other bits that can take up to an hour.
But no complaints from anyone.

Happy daze John in Oz.
