Hms mary.
Good Morning,
I am hoping that someone maybe able to help me?
I am looking for a ship called H.MS. Mary, i do believe the ship may go back to 1600.
I have a found a relation that was on board the ship and would like to find out more about the ship.
My relation died in 1726.
He was Michael Birkby, he has a will on Ancestry, which some of it i can read, but not the names in charge of the ship
Would like some help with this.
Kind Regards
Clapton

Re: Hms mary.
The National Maritime Museum holds information relating to over 20,000 British warships from about 1500 to 1950. The data includes the name, type and launch date of almost every British warship in the time period concerned. For many ships there is also data on the shipyard which built a vessel, and details of the service history and captains of the ship concerned. For some ships further technical details (for instance, construction materials or dimensions) are available.
