Union Castle lines - The Edinburgh Castle

Hello

My parents met on board teh Edinburgh Castle in the 1960s while dad was working on board ship.

They are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary this year and I am trying to find some memento for them.

If you have any advice on where to look I would be most grateful.

Hi Karen,i sailed union castle,still got my old boarding pass.They were the real liners,look at todays blocks of flats,what disasters(capacity ab)Best of luck to you and your family.(dt.fya).

I sailed six trips of the Windsor Castle and never had a "Boarding Pass" Damon, what was your discharge book number by the way? All real seamen had or still have one, I have.

I did three trips on the Stirling Castle , and like Bill never had a boarding pass, kt

Correct Bill, never received a boarding pass for sailing on the Mailships.
