Re: Hidden Content
Hi John. Double D brings back memories.
The fist beer I ever drank.
The only pub that let me in under age.
Also when I used to get the train to the docks and back. The staff would let me into their place for free drinks.
Once when my bride to be was waiting at the station, I stepped off before we were on the platform.
And she still married me.
Sorry for going on.
Back to the thread.

Re: Hidden Content
You see Den, there in is the hidden thread.
So many problems caused by the Rail ways.
If British Rail had not put a bar at Southampton station and another on the train I would have got home Friday as intended and not Saturday having spent a night in a boarding house in Basingstoke.
So many good men and true such as yourself got into all manner of difficulties as a result of this companies practices.

Re: Hidden Content
Morning John, Agree 100%. Do you think we could sue them? May be a bit late now. Should have thought of it back then. Although in those days it wasn't the done thing.
Pity, they almost ruined my love life.
