Thanks Marian didnt know there were 2 blown up. I rather think the story I got was the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Appeared like a comedy of errors and had it's comical moments if you look at in a different light. What were them cops in the silent movies The Keystone Cops. When you see stories in newspapers they are trying to make as much of a serious situation as they can. I thought it funny when the owners were threatening the crew with the sack from a ship that too all intents and purposes was not in a seaworthy condition and was never completely submerged. Cheers JWS

So why should the Black man show any love for his white opressors. And that is why South Africa is why it is today. It will take a hundred years at least for both races to accept each other.

I have just spent some time in the company of quite a few West Indians , the white man is still not forgiven for slavery , so I think a 1000 years , not a 100

At the time of the formation of the Irish free state / Eire. The outgoing governor general said to Michael Collins we could have put another 50,000 troops into this place and kept it.
Michael Collins reply , yes you could , but you would have had to keep them here.

Interesting story Lewis but M. Collins was done in by his own.

But there is not a nation on this earth that at some time has not been invaded or taken over by another.

it was blacks from one tribe capture blacks from other tribes for their land and women and sold to slavers so who is to fault the sellers {blacks} or byers {whites} if all the blacks in America or Caribbean went back in their history one black persons ancestor may have captured the person next to him's ancestor in the past worth a thought? so they should be having a go at each other not the whites? a bit heavy for this time of the morning? jp

They just don't know how well off they are, when I worked in Ethiopia and returning from the UK from a very short break I was taking five new members to join the team, one a West Indian, from the moment of meeting in Heathrow all we got was how he was so privileged to be going back to his roots and meeting his brothers! when he got there he was going round shaking every indigenous hand he could find. After a fortnight he couldn't wait to get 'back to civilisation' (his words). Anyway we didn't start the slavery trade it was their own brothers selling them to the Arabs who in turn sold them to the Portuguese who were the initiators of the 'Slave Trade', it was a 100 years later before the British got into the trade, but as always we are a convenient whipping boy and it would not be politically correct to broadcast the real facts

It was not just the French that carried out Nuclear testing. But yes I do agree that was a disgrace what went on out there by the French. The UK, Emu Field, South Australia, 28:68 S 132.34 E
