There is a good photo of her city of Ripon on u boat net she was sunk 90 miles off of Georgetown in South America if I am wrong there is plenty of knowledge on here who will put me right , regarding a photo again maybe someone could put you on the right course I am not sure myself if his discharge book would have sailed with the ship after the crew signed on or if all the books where put ashore just in case I have no doubt you know but merchant navy day is upon us 3rd of September normally a big meet up at tower hill the city of Ripon is I have no doubt comemerated there with the names of all those lost in her I wish you well in your search best regards Dave .
