but here is a hard one and its not a boiled egg? cheers mate for keeping the interest alive terry.captain smith was R.N.R. and it was believed he chose to fly the blue duster the day she sailed from southampton, yet he never served in the royal navy? how can that be cheers lads terry.

Because of his position as a Commander in the Royal Naval Reserve Smith had the distinction of being able to fly the Blue Duster of the R.N.R., most ships flew the Red Duster of the merchant marine

wll give you it if you visit the the Australian war memorial, and type in search ENO230.you will find her history H.M.A.S.SYDNEY 1913.she had quite a lot of succes, and lasted the whole first world war regards vern terry. bigman here:s one you should have no probs with......... australia,columbia,india,bolivia,whats the connection regards terry
