channel tunnel
is the channel tunnel worth the aggravations on both sides 20 mile tailbacks this side and thousands trying to bunk in the other side?

Re: channel tunnel
#1 Indeed, looking messy Dover/Calais. Having booked a crossing there for next month, managed to change to Newhaven/Dieppe.. shouldn't have a problem there, unless that well known Francophile M.Kong tries to smuggle himself aboard to enjoy the pleasures of La Belle France.

Re: channel tunnel
Last time I had the pleasure (it was then) was in 1961 from Dover to Calais, those days it was a lovely overnight Ferry with lots of Music and Booze! Woke up in Calais the next Morning with a massive Headache, LOL
we had to clamber to get a Bunk though the Ferries were always so full!

Re: channel tunnel
The berstereds charged the Tunnel again last night and one was killed. Tough.
Cameron should go to froggy france and get a grip of Hollande`s throat and drag him around the British War Cemeteries, and say "Look at those brave men Frog, they all died protecting france, , Now protect Britain and get rid of these Invaders".
The tunnel should be filled in, open the valves and flood it.
Everyone should Boycott france, Stop going there, stop spending money on French goods, hit them in the wallet. I do , never ever buy anything french,
Where is the froggy french Foreign Legion.?>
A few years ago when the Tahitians protested against the french Nuclear Bomb tests in Tahiti, , 210 explosions, giving the Tahitians Cancers, Leukaemia and Deformed babies, They sent in the Foreign Legion to crack their skulls, WHY Don't they do it in Calais? I guess like all cowards they find the Polynesians easier to deal with.
Last time I went to france was on my ship to Dunkirk, in 1992, nothing but big time trouble with the dockers.
I have no wish ever to set foot in froggy france, They also killed a lot of British Merchant Seamen in WW2 sinking our ships and killed some more marching the survivors through the swamps and jungles of West Africa all the way to Timbuktu , The graves of British Seamen were found there.

Re: channel tunnel
I don't think the Chunnel's to blame. If not there, they would still find ways, with the connivance of the French authorities.
