Can anybody help, Looking for information regarding a vessel called Miranda,sold arround 1981 to greenpeace?? She was a sailing ship,had masts removed when sold.

. The last I heard of MIRANDA was when I sailed with a Sparky, from Bournemouth area, on an ESSO tanker. he had sailed on the MIRANDA when she was escorting the British trawlers during the Cod War with Iceland in the late 70s.
I remember him saying they had a mortuary on board with freezers for the dead. I once had a photo of her.

That is the one Rob, thanks for that. a very popular ship but I for one would not have enjoyed sailing on her during that time. What an interesting site that is.
