The Norway had her last call at New York, at Pier 88, in September 2001.
She was off on a crossing to Northern Europe. Our good friend Rich Weiss snapped this photo from across the Hudson, from the cliffs of Weehawken.
The Norway always caused a buzz -- she was, after all, the legendary France in her first life. Her reputation and image were enviable: Luxurious, big suites, some of the best wines flowed & even menus for the dogs!
