Saturday morning in Port Everglades: There are 7 big, even huge cruise ships in port today: Carnival Conquest, Celebrity Summit, Eurodam, Royal Princess, Island Princess, Freedom of the Seas and, the biggest liner of all these days, the 6,60o-bed Harmony of the Seas.


Altogether, some 21,000 passengers debarked this morning; another 21,000 or so sailing off this afternoon. ​
