A sad week
Last week i had two funerals the first one was my brother in law a ex MN man him and i was great mates and we both lost our wives at the same time
The other funeral was a exNZ POW Russel Geeves both of us served on the committee for many years in fact we was the last two ex pow*s in Dunedin so that makes me the last pow here
I have said this before the NZ ex POW association was one of the best things i did when i joined it a great bunch of guys

Hi Lou sorry to hear two of your best mates passed away this week,good mates like that are hard to come by but you can look back and remember the good times that you had with them.My condolences go to you and their families.

Very hard to loose good mates as they are hard to come by these days!
I too lost my very best friend a few Years back,we were buddies from School days!
