    Default Sam Smith's:

I swear by Sam Smith's: Think they maybe the same brewery as John's. But Brains is best if you can cross the bridge into God's Country: Near £6 to get in but your let out for nothing. Think they decided to save labour costs and the fact no one had any money left to go home after the Satins Ale, Dark and Clarksies Pies.

The Old Brewery in Tadcaster, Yorkshire, in the North of England, was established in 1758. Samuel Smith, a successful butcher and cattle dealer from Meanwood, Leeds, funded his son John to buy it from the Hartley family in 1847. John Smith took over the brewery forming John Smith's Brewery, before leaving it to his young nephew Samuel.Samuel Smith inherited the Old Brewery in 1886 and re-opened it under his own name, since the John Smith's business had been moved by his uncle William to a large new premises next door. Samuel Smith's remains independent.Whilst John Smiths was taken over by Courage , and is now part of Scottish and Newcastle , Some is brewed near Warrington , some in the North East

    Default that's better

Well that's much better Lou, nothing like a bit of eye candy to brighten ones day, one can still admire without wanting, my wife says she will start worrying the day I stop looking at and admiring a pretty girl, I doubt that day will ever come whilst I'm still breathing. Wendy sends her love and wishes you a nice trip home.

Lou as you say this is the good ship FRIENDSHIP. It is good to see that after so many years Merchant seamen can still meet with others they never knew yet greet them as long lost friends. I doubt there is any other profession that can boast such accomplishments.
    Happy daze John in Oz.
