60th Annivesary
In answer to post 9 by Peter Trodden the Barrons are no relations of mine as i was the only child i mother had (maybe just as well )my father died when i was young and my mother married again well before the war to a ex MN seaman and the married name wasReid .In Dunedin there where a couple of ex MN guys who jump ship here Dollar Doyle and a Mick Williams To the other POST10 by Peter Lacey as regardsto the DCC not having any idea of the 60th Annivesary i have no idea why and the plaque that is in Port Chalmers myself and a Johnny Cawley was one of the start of that being put there in 1993 it is on the wall of the Maritime Museum
