Suicides
I was ask the other day by a welfare officer from the RSA if i knew of anybody that commited suicide in any of the pow camps i was .Well in fact the only suicides that i heard of was in Changi jail i did hear of two but there could have been more .Anyhow there was alot of guys just give up to go on living .But there was not anybody that i personally knew who did themselves in

Lou it would be no shame on any one who did under such circumstances. How you and many more survived to tell the story is beyond many of us hearing some of the horror stories about the camps.
