Anzac day
Hi Lou, The standard you went on parade with looks very much like my home made one I take on parade in my local town of St Helens every occasion that standards are presented, Especially Rembrance Day so that people know that the MN was in that war as well.

Merchant Navy in the News
Thanks to all you guys for the very kind posts about me .Really i did this for all the Merchant Navy its not just about me its about all those seamen who lost their lives in the war and about you people who have kept this MN site going .But back to ANZAC DAY i went to parade and services then later on oh boy what a day i tried to operate my laptop but to no avail every thing started to get hazy and pressing the wrong keys so i went for a night cap then to bed
