G'Day All, I'm back.X CORFU/Arcadia
Hi All, After a couple of years away I have returned to the fold, Retired and happy, I now drive for the Mission to Seamen as a casual, taking seamen from ship to shore, people can no longer walk around the docks in Hobart, OH&S stuff.
Anyone out there from 1959 Gravesend sea school, Corfu or Arcadia 1960-1961 ? : )

Roger welcome back to the land of the living, well so they say. Two things for you, first friday september 3rd hop on the ferry and come across to Port Melbourne for the re-union. Secon, my very good mate in U.K. Keith Levett was on the Corfu in 1960 as a bell boy, copy of his discharge book in the gallery.

Happy daze John in Oz.

Hello Roger
Welcome Back.My younger brother was on Arcadia about that time, despite constant badgering over the years he keeps neglecting to give me his ship details etc. Short of time I will do it he says! Still with 4 daughters who knows? I was at Gravesend late '56 and without wishing to detract from this fine group there is now a Facebook Gravesend and Vindi group you might find some old shipmates on there...Having just visited OZ and had a wonderful time My regret is we didnt get the ferry over. Everyone tells me its just like KENT!! All the best Alan.
