Hello friends.
<a brief introduction. I came across this web site by accident. I was looking for Four Bells Rum and why I never see it anymore.
Anyway my seagoing history goes way back to the 60's. I started off as a R/O with NZ Shipping then moved on to various companies,
Salvesens, then out to Australia working the coast there. Then I worked for Loucas Nomicos on Greek Shipping. Back to the UK with BP
then Stena Bulk, Cairnryan to Larne Ferry service. Grundstadt Maritime on the GOGo fleet a story all on it's own.
Freelance and role changed to ETO. Finished up about 15 years ago. Sorry the story is too long and missed out loads of bits in between.
Really wondering if some of my old shipmates are still around. But nice to be here.

Re: Hello friends.
4 Bells, drank plenty in 50's. Last seen on the Irish Larch when she loaded iron ore in Darwin in about 1973.
