Peter Simpson
Hello everyone.
My uncle, Peter Simpson, served in the Merchant Navy between 1951 and 1953. He sadly passed away a couple of weeks ago.
I know he served on the Grecian between July and September 1951, and also on the Pelayo between June and October 1953.
Long shot but does anyone on this forum remember sailing with him?
Thank you

Re: Peter Simpson
Carol to find anyone who knew him is a longer shot than necessary. Further info. Like his date and place of birth might jog someone’s memory . A lot of water has passed under the bridge since then. Plus the name Peter Simpson is probably as popular as John Smith. Best of luck however you might strike gold. Regards JS

Re: Peter Simpson
As said above , his Place and DOB would help a lot.
This too could locate his Seamans pouch which may be of interest to you
Cheers
