hi John F, it's an amazing procedure, well worth having if the sight is effected. There's more time spent on the prepping and on the recovery than the actual op. but the benefits after make it worth while. good luck.
    regards, stan

All the best John she"ll be right mate. There is always someone worse off, my Brother in Law only has 10 per cent vision in his right eye zilch in his left. Nothing they can do and will be totally blind in 6 months. Is due a dog in a couple of months time so will have to receive extensive training in the dos and donts with the use of a dog. He is only 65 and has been going blind for a number of years, this is in addition to other ailments as has 6 stints in heart and are preparing to give another. Some people are lucky and others not so. See you when you think is right to get back on computer. Cheers John S

    #1&3, John & Keith,

Best of luck for your operation today Keith.

John, my mum had cataract op's on both eyes, each one no problem at all, you'll be grand.
