Billy McGee off line
Sending message from mobile. Computer hard drive gave up the ghost. Can't get it fixed. No funds for new system. Maybe gone for sometime.

Re: Billy McGee off line
Hello Billy,
Was wondering why I didn't hear back from you. Bad luck - been there myself. If it's just the hard drive that has gone you can replace it without needing anything else. 1TB & 2TB drives from about £50.
Hope you get sorted soon.
Regards
Hugh

Re: Billy McGee off line
Would way in £50 as a starter, pos between a few of us we could assist in a repair, renewal etc. Was not going to post this as sometimes it seems like charity etc. I take it as a debt many of us owe and we need Billy back on line ASAP. K

Recently got a new lap top for here indoors, actually best place was John Lewis, reasonable priced Asus and saved a lot as did not take out any extended warranty as they give a 3 year guarantee. K.

If the computer cannot be rescued as Mike states ask the compo shop to take out the hard drive before scrapping and insert into an external hard drive shell. Still need a computer, but should save most of your content for future use.
