Hello. Glen Barker here....... I served with Pan ocean from 1973 to 1980, latter the company was named after merging with Athel Line and became Pan Ocean Anco......
Iv'e lost all contact with my good friends i sailed with and now wish to re-connect and chat about ol' times , as ya do....... Lots of good memories which i would like to share again....
A brief history: Ist voyage as junior Steward 1973 was on the Post Champion.... Names are a struggle but i recall the CPO chef as Taffy Davies. PO cook bobby ? Po Stwd William Duncan Asst stwd Jimmy ? Asst Stwd Ricky davies. Asst stwd Kenny Lyons ? Capt was Hammond with his wife Isabel ? All abit vague...
The deck CPO and EDH hands i cannot recall. I did meet John Cunnigham on , i think Post endeavour and we remained friends for years. His dad was a CPO. but alas no contact for over 30 years... sorry 40 years....
I left and joined the Met Police and retired 2010. I'm enjoying my retirement travelling and spending the winter months in Spain. Overal,l alls well...... I'm still single....... It would be wonderfull to hear from anyone from sea school and beyond with Pan Ocean.....
