Frank welcome to this wonderful site. You are still young un by some of them, but do you have any dates to go with the ships you listed. If so and you post them there is a good chance someone will remember you.
So sit back with a cold one and enjoy the voyage.

Happy daze John in Oz.

I sailed most of my time with the Cairn Thomson Line , it was a great company and i would like to hear from any ex Cairn Line crew Isailed on the Cairn gowan the Avon and the the Cairnforth she was a cracker of a ship. Mostly our run was Leith Newcastle Grange mouth then northabout to Canada Montreal in the summer and New Brunswick in the winter The North Atlantic in the winter was no picnic and i admire skippers the likes of Capt. Hogg usually known as hurricane Hogg and Capt. Lobban ,Capt. Percy and Capt Aitchision i was privilaged to sail under these men Any ex Cairn boat crew please get in touch Stewart Martin Chief Cook Cairn Line

Re your post #9, Davey.........Touche'.
......It must be a great comfort to Lars knowing he has a friend with such linguistic skills. I wonder if you could ask him if he is ever going to upload the 'pic' of the two, semi-naked, lovelies in Froger Park, Oslo. Ain't that just typical Norski, get us all excited and then forget about it
.............................cheers, Roger.
P.S. WITH APOLOGIES TO FRANK (RICHARDSON) FOR THIS DIGRESSION. INCIDENTALLY, FRANK, GOOD TO HAVE YOU ABOARD, MATE.
