Default "Mog" is new to this site

Just joined this site and am looking to see if there are any old seafarer friends out there! I sailed on Botany Bay, Northren Star, Darro, Medic, Durango, Canopic, Ionic, Icenic, Drina, Laurentic, Riverina, Roebuck, Jamaica Producer, Dart Continent, Dart Britain, Pacific Peace, Pacific Patriot, Andes, Ironbridge, Abbey, British Steel, then with the Cap boats until 2006. There must be at least one of you out there that sailed on one of these ships!!!

I was also in College in Swansea 1969-71, and Southapmton 1972, as Engineerr cadet with Shaw Saville

    What happened to "Yorky" Boothroyd?

    Regards Mog. (Mike Reynolds)

G'day Mog and welcome to the site. Fine list of ships you have there, amy dates to go with them? If you do and care to list them here you may well get replies from some who knew you. So sit back with a cold one and enjoy the voyage.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

    Hi Mog
I was on a lot of the same ships you was on not sure if we where on them together though i was on the Ionic,Durango,Riverina, Roebuck to, so maybe we did sail together at some time on one of these ships. the only Yorky i can remember was on the Durango when we was on the New Zealand run and then down to South America happy days.i was also on the new andes for psnc a container ship untill 1992 when we was moved on for cheaper labour and a cheaper flag.

Hello Mike Reynolds. I sailed on the Botany Bay on the 7/10/74 and 20/01/75 and21/06/76 and 21/02/77. The last voyage I sailed as POE. I am Anthony Atkinson R796905. The name rings a bell, but the mug shot, no way, why I have problems remembering who I am these days. This is of course all due to the lack of a decent tot of rum, followed very quickly by another decent tot of rum. Happy days.
