Good Hope Castle
Dear All,
does anyone remember a John Collins who was a junior engineer on the Good Hope Castle in 1966? did he become a Chief Engineer.

Well as far as i can make out from Crew Lists J Collins was as you say Jnr Eng on the Good Hope Castle leaving Southampton 4th Feb 1966
After that it seems that he may have done another trip or two on the Ship,but there are no Crew lists for the period untill August of 1966 and on that list he is not shown,so dont know if he got a promo after that trip!

From what I have seen of them Vernon some of those lists are not complete. But do remember Pringle second lecky, he was fourth on the Windsor back in about 63.
