A few things to ponder
There are many more but picked at random...
We don’t let Athletes bet on games they can influence. Why do we allow pollies to invest in companies they regulate.?
Why is it so many are outraged that Britney Grinder is stuck in Russia than they were about Americans being trapped in Afghanistan.?
How is it that the Govt. can’t control petrol prices , but the weather is something they can fix ?
Why is cancelling a student debt a good idea ? Does it make sense to reward people who do nor honour their financial commitments by taxing people who do ?
Does it make sense to cut off oil from an ally and buy from an enemy who calls foryour death ?
Are we living in a time where intelligent people are silenced so that stupid people won’t be offended ?
Why are we running out of money for Social Security and Medicare and not for welfare, illegals and free College ?
If a. 18 year old isn’t mature enough to own a firearm , then maybe a5 year old isn’t mature enough to change its gender
Mice die in mousetraps because they do not understand why the cheese is free. Just like Solialism.
If you don’t want to stand for the National Anthem perhaps you should give your legs to a veteran who lost his. That way a real man. Can stand in your place.

#2. John Why were we told to lower our AC usage on hot days to prevent overwhelming the Electric Grid while simultaneously being told to trade in our petrol driven cars for electric vehicles ?

Re: A few things to ponder
Very simple, the grid cannot take the strain of both at once.
Did you know that yesterday the renewable grid produced enough power to keep the country running for all of 30 minutes, and that was at maximum production.
Here in Victoria we have one town with a battery, about the size of 40 large containers that can power 30,000 houses for 2 hours 8 minutes.
After that the diesel powered generators kick in.

#5 with the amount of on tap LNG Australia has, the standby generators would have been LNG fuelled. Cleaner emissions than diesel fuelled generators. Have a word John and tell the powers that be to get them converted to dual fuel.

Re: A few things to ponder
We export a great amount of LPG and we still have some vehicles that run on it.
But it is the word gas they do not like,
In one city we have local buses that run on LPG and idle on Diesel, works very well.

What is the point of that system? seems cockeyed to me if they are looking from an anti pollution angle. Buses in Delhi and taxis in HK have run on CNG for years, much cleaner although in case of Delhi not making much impact.

Why would they use a system like that? defeats the object idling on diesel? the harder a diesel works the cleaner the emissions.
