Gone news
That wonderful institution Fakebook (Facebook to some) had cracked the S***s here in Oz.
It has pulled the plug on a number of people, news services and some important ones such as Bush Fire alerts.
In a row with the Gov over payments for news services provided to it.
Google went through similar a couple of weeks ago but settled difference with them
Zuckerbugh however is not so keen to negotiate, one of the problems with a monopoly such as this one.
Has the UK been effected??

Happy daze John in Oz.

Re: Gone news
No, also wonder why you are concerned, you say you do not use it.

Re: Gone news
I think a person has a right to be concerned about lots of things regardless of subject.
I am concerned about rising crime rates, but have never been involved in a crime.
I am concerned about many things I am not personally involved in.
I am concerned about dis-information.
I am concerned about nation states showing beligerence to each other.
The list is endless for all of us

Re: Gone news
What this has shown is that over half the country here in Oz rely on it so much they are totally rooted without it.
Running round like headless chooks.

Re: Gone news
Only use it socially with family and friends, so have suggested to them we start a Whats App and tell facebook to go look at its cats.

Re: Gone news
Use What's App a lot great way to have a catch up with the family. One of life's pleasures is when your 7 year old grand daughter calls using the video link. Down side is when she calls at 6.30 in the morning because she thinks it is the same time here as it is in Bordeaux What's App is owned by Facebook.
