To be a dictator and a despot it is not the job one retires from gracefully , and joins the local bowling club. Its usually a job you die in and won’t give it up. There is nowhere to go. There are no more ambitious targets to reach, If he expects statues to be made in his honour I think he may be thinking that one is out. Let’s hope he doesn’t try to make all the other statues over the world of other different minded people , he doesn’t try to reduce to rubble with his threats , of bigger and better bombs. Thinking back Keith Bin Lid at one time was also being financed by you know who, when he was resisting the Russians in Afghanastan . All these third world countries change their hats to suit the circumstances. The same as the one in Iraq who was at odds with Iran. Politics is a hard thing to keep up with. Hitler changed his agreement with Stalin otherwise Russia may have also been at odds with Europe alongside of him. The world could be a totally different place today if not for the quirks and bad management of our so called politicians and some of the decisions they make. Good or Bad we are stuck with them. JS.
There are reports in various media outlets tat Putin is recruiting Syrian Mercenaries (p o 30,000) for hand to hand fighting when a Ukrainian city is captured.
