vOYAGE OF THE ZACA, ERROL FLYNNS YACHT
Here is a Two part film of Flynn's Yacht ZACA, which I once had the privilege of being invited on board in Port Antonio Jamaica with all our deck crowd ten of us, while we were there on the TILAPA , Fyffes skin boats.
Interesting, His father was a famous Marine Biologist who was working at the Scripps Institute in La Jolla, San Diego, where my son eventually worked, He sails from California, through the Panama Canal, No cameras allowed in the Canal Zone in those days, and round to Port Antonio Jamaica. he enjoyed sailing .
These two films are followed by a film of Flynn`s entire life from a baby in Tasmania to his death at the age of 50 in October 1959 in bed with young Beverley Aadland in Vancouver.,
Very interesting what he did in those short years.
I liked Flynn, he had it all but blew it at an early age of 50.
