Hi Chris, in the back of my addled brain i seem to recall a tv program some years ago , where a couple had converted one of the Mersey ferries to a houseboat. They had made a lovely job of it as well, KT

I,no doubt together with many others either members or visitors to this site crossed the Mersey as a passenger on the Egremont many times to and from Birkenhead to Liverpool.

I Would as a scouser and a Liverpool F.C. Supporter, Like to congratulate Wayne Rooney on his record breaking goal for England against the Swiss tonight, I know its a bit of track but he is also the youngest player to score for England, Another coup for this city, We do have a habit of breading them alright must be the pan of scouse as a kid that does it, Even if he is overpaid his feet do the talking Terry.
